Our client is a human-sized Belgian company, active in the high-end artisanal production sector and internationally recognised for the quality and authenticity of its products.

Located near Brussels, the company employs a team of around ten people and operates with a flat structure, a highly involved management team and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

The coming years will be marked by structuring projects, including the development of new sales channels, global strategic reflection and financial modelling to support growth.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Your role

As Finance Manager, you will hold a key, transversal position at the heart of the company.
This is a highly operational role, with strong exposure to management, while offering real autonomy to structure, analyse and challenge the business.

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, as well as monthly closings.
  • Produce key financial analyses (cash flow, EBITDA, performance) and prepare ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making (investments, pricing, projects).
  • Set up and structure a robust sales reporting, in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Monitor revenue performance by market and distribution channel.
  • Supervise accounting entries and ensure the reliability of financial data.
  • Act as the main financial point of contact for management and operational teams.
  • Oversee excise duties and customs-related matters (training provided if needed).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and the use of the ERP system.

Jouw profiel

Your profile

  • Degree in finance, accounting or equivalent through experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or a similar financial role.
  • Very strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial analysis).
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written (reporting in English).
    French is an asset.
  • Comfortable in an SME environment: autonomous, proactive and able to take ownership.
  • Curious, sociable and structured personality, with a genuine interest in the business and the product.
