The Cook will be responsible for the daily preparation and cooking of authentic Chettinad and South Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation. This role involves working closely with the Head Cook to execute the menu, maintain kitchen standards, and support efficient kitchen operations. Cook Tamil tawa dishes: kothu parotta, varuval/fry items (eg, chicken/mutton/fish), parotta/chapati. Prepare and cook a variety of Chettinad and South Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options such as Chettinad Chicken Curry, Pepper Chicken, Fish Fry, kuzhambu varieties, dosas, idlis, and appams. Follow recipes and techniques as directed by the Head Cook to ensure authentic flavors, including roasting and grinding masalas and using traditional ingredients like curry leaves, tamarind, and dried red chilies.
