Daarna test je zelf of het product aan de nodige kwaliteit voldoet. Je gebruikt hiervoor diverse analytische laboapparatuur - Je werkt mee aan nieuwe formules, soms samen met een , vaak zelfstandig. In sommmige gevallen ook op testprints van industriële inkjet printers. Je documenteert zeer zorgvuldig de resultaten en bespreekt de bevindingen met je teamleden. Je zorgt ervoor dat je werkplek veilig en netjes blijft. Jouw profiel - Wat moet je kunnen of willen leren? Je hebt een graduaat of TSO-diploma in chemie, laborant of proces-technieken – of gelijkwaardige ervaring.

                Mechanical Design Engineer

                You will be part of the R&D Mechanical Design team and gain in-depth knowledge of Xeikon's digital printing engines. * You will contribute to the mechanical design of a new family of high-end, full-colour digital print engines, and follow up the production, quality and field issues of existing print engine models. * Interpretation of specifications, 3D mechanical design from concept to prototype to production assemblies, Creation of manufacturing drawings using GD&T, Technical discussions with and , Assembly and evaluation of prototypes and test setups, Release submodules for series production * You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in (electro)mechanical engineering or industrial design. * You have 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design within an industrial or high-tech environment. * You report to the Electromechanical Design. * You have a strong understanding of mechanical physics.
