Brussels, April 2021. Jobsite and e-recruiting company StepStone has announced a new management setup for Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Olivier Stroobant will take over the role as Managing Director for StepStone BELUX&France on May 1st.
Olivier Stroobant joined StepStone in 2020 as Sales Director for StepStone Belgium and has been a key factor for the team’s success. Prior to StepStone, Stroobant has worked in several sales or sales related functions at bpost where he had been in charge of managing the sales performance and large-scale sales transformation projects.
After starting his career in banking and the energy sector, he has also been active at The Boston Consulting Group as consultant in Strategy and Management consulting for several international clients in different industries, ranging from post-merger integration projects to product portfolio and market entry strategies.
Also joining the new management team is Arthur Meulman, who has held various management positions at StepStone over the course of 20 years and has been responsible for the Luxembourg business jobs.lu most recently.
Meulman will take the newly formed position as Deputy Managing Director for the three countries while also keeping his responsibilities for jobs.lu.
The new management duo succeeds Piet Derriks, who joins Axel Springer company Immoweb in Belgium as Managing Director after 21 years with StepStone. He started his StepStone career in 1999 – after holding senior positions in the sales organization, he was a key facilitator in the founding process of the international recruitment organization THE NETWORK, which today includes job platforms from more than 130 countries. Prior to his responsibility for StepStone Belux&France, he headed the hospitality business of StepStone for many years.
