This is how you create the perfect job ad within a Stepstone structure

Here we provide you with all the information you need to create a job ad on Stepstone

Company logo

The uniform size and placement of the logo helps candidates to orientate themselves. The company logo is displayed in a standardized size.

Technical requirements

  • Image resolution: between 90 x 90 px and 300 x 200 px
  • Image size: max. 250 kb
  • Image format: .gif

Header image

You can select a header image or up to three images for an image slider. Due to the representation of your company logo above the listing, an additional integration of the logo in the header images is not recommended. Content that is relevant for the search must be mentioned within the ad text.

For the slider to be displayed optimally, all pictures must have the same image size.

  • Image size: max. 2 MB
  • Image format: .jpeg (recommended), .png

3Background image

The background image enhances the overall impression of the job listing and increases the branding effect. Choose an unobtrusive image that matches the header image.

  • Image size: max. 2 MB
  • Image format: .jpeg (recommended), .png

4Section titles

With the new Liquid Design listing structure, the sections “Introduction”, “Your tasks”, “Your profile”, “What we offer” and “Contact” are available. The order of these sections is fixed.

Strengthen your branding by displaying the headings of the sections with your company colour. The headings can be adapted using appropriate synonyms. Additional headings within the individual sections are not possible.

5Job Ad title

The job title is what candidates see first. It is decisive for directing candidates to your advertisement and should therefore be as clear as possible.

Use the correct function title, no locations, no M/F/X, no additional information.

Links to other job offers, external (advertisement) content and links to online application forms are not allowed, in order not to distract from the content of the job ad. Furthermore, links and text references to competitors of Stepstone are not permitted.

Selected links are possible, these must be under a word. Links are displayed in the colour of the section titles.

Email addresses are not recommended, contact details can be put in the contact file and the candidate can apply via ‘Apply Now’.

7Video integration

Provide further information about your company or the job by integrating a video. YouTube or Vimeo links are all possible. Product presentations or advertising spots do not offer the candidate any added value and are therefore not permitted.

8Google Maps location

For the Google Maps location, please enter the address of the place of work. As a minimum you are required to enter the city AND the postal code.

9Certificates

Emphasize your attractiveness as an employer by including certifications or awards.

The certificates are stored in the Company Hub and will be displayed automatically in all job ads.

Certificates that include a star rating are not possible.
