As the right hand of the chief accountant, you will be in charge of: daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL), closing and reporting activities, as well as VAT and tax related subjects. Our client is an international company with various fields of expertise in the medical and pharmaceutical sector. You will work within a specific division of the company, dedicated to a field of expertise. Right hand of the Chief Accountant in the Medical / Pharmaceutical sector * Ensuring accuracy of all data * Reconciliation of accounts * Preparation and analysis of cash flow * Preparation of the financial statements (BE GAAP) * Assisting with external audits and internal controls * Acting as a point of contact within the finance team * 5-10 years of experience in a similar accounting role * Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP * Good command of French (invoices and local documentation) * Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
