Prototyping and research of sensor fusion algorithms in the context of Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) in coordination with other autonomy specialists, embedded software engineering and computer vision engineering teams * Taking part in the research, selection and validation of sensing components. * Degree in Robotics, Control systems, Computer Vision or a related engineering discipline with at least 8 years of experience in the research and development of localization and mapping functionality in robotics systems (PhD preferred). * Extensive academic or industrial experience in research and development of state-of-the-art VIO and SLAM implementations, ideally both in prototyping and on-device implementation.
