Parkwind is continuously looking for dynamic employees who want to grow and develop together with the company. To reinforce our Finance department, Parkwind is looking for a Senior Project Controller.
Your role
- Responsible for 1 to 2 complex and large capex projects (+ 500 MEUR) in development or construction phase;
- Provide financial support in development or construction phase of the project(s) in a multi-stakeholder environment;
- Lead the entire budget & reporting process over the development & construction lifetime;
- Responsible for monthly financial reports and presentations towards different stakeholders (management team, board meeting, banks, shareholders, internal departments);
- Responsible for the cash management of the project(s);
- Close cooperation with the colleagues of accounting on the monthly closing activities;
- Close cooperation with the colleagues of corporate finance on the project finance activities;
- Have a good understanding of the development & construction process of a large capex project (financial, technical, contractual, interfaces, risks);
- Have a good understanding of project finance within a large capex project;
- Responsible for the analytical masterdata of the project(s) reporting in the ERP system;
- Conduct one-off or regular financial & investment analyses on more specific and complex financial aspects in cooperation with the relevant departments;
- Participate and contribute to continuously improving reporting, controlling and planning processes.
Your profile
- You obtained a master’s degree in finance;
- You have at least 10 years’ experience and 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience from the on- & offshore wind sector or the oil & gas sector is a plus.
- You have a good ability to understand the complex financial & technical business and its interactions;
- You have in-depth knowledge of analytical and accounting concepts, and you are familiar with ERP and reporting systems;
- You are an advanced user of MS Office and you have an interest in financial modelling;
- You are organized enough to be able to track multiple projects and perform several tasks at the same time;
- You are accurate and have strong analytical skills;
- You have strong social and communicative skills and can work both in team as autonomous;
- You speak and write fluently English and Dutch. Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
