For our Search&Match team, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong technical background to improve matching and recommendations in the recruitment domain.

With over 300,000 jobs online and 25 million visits per month, the data is big and the challenge is even bigger. We need an experienced and creative professional to own the development of advanced technical solutions for our search and recommender engines and to realise an entirely new vision of autonomously matching talents with vacancies.

Search&Match is split across offices in Brussels, Berlin, Munich and London, so you will work in an international environment with a team of experienced and like-minded colleagues.

Your Mission

As a Product Owner in Search&Match, you will:

Be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our search and recommender engines and for setting up new matching products
Develop your team’s roadmap to maximally contribute on the Search&Match OKRs
Be responsible for product backlog refinement, make sure the backlog is healthy and consistent
Lead the sprint ceremonies with your team from planning to review
Initiate and guide new projects from conception to deployment
Work closely with the development team and business stakeholders on the design and specification of new features
Manage the (offline and A/B-) testing and quality monitoring for ongoing projects
Keep an eye on the performance of your products, proactively spot issues and take the necessary actions
Monitor developments in search and recommendation technology and evaluate them for the recruitment domain

Who are you ?

You have a university degree in a relevant area plus at least 3-5 years professional or high-level academic experience in a field with a strong emphasis on computer science, natural language processing (NLP), data science or similar
You have previous experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an agile software development environment (ideally in Scrum)
You know how to use common analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics)
Professional experience in software development or data science/ML will be a plus
You take responsibility for the success of your projects and initiatives
You have a pragmatic, goal-driven mindset
Fluent English speaker (the working language is English)
Knowledge of German, French or Dutch is a plus
You are willing and able to travel regularly within Europe (10-15%)
