Our client is a leading Company in the distribution of professional hair, beauty and nail products.
They sell to professionals and consumers in Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Spain and Germany.
They are looking for a “Loss, Prevention & Store Compliance Advisor “(m/f) for their stores in Belgium (mainly), Netherlands and Germany.
This role will be based in their European HQ in region Ghent Zeehaven and report to the country managers.
Function
- Perform individual store risk and compliance reviews.
- Live within the vicinity of European Head Office in Ghent. Travel will be required to conduct store reviews, within the following countries: Belgium, Netherlands & Germany.
- Schedule individual store reviews to efficiently complete assignments.
- Perform pre-review analysis of store data including daily sales, sale adjustments, edit and delete usage, inventory shrink and controllable expenses.
- Discuss store reviews with the district manager or designated contact.
- Communicate results through written reports to the appropriate level of Executive and Field Management when applicable.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures.
- Observe physical stock counts at store and warehouse locations as requested by management.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly summary reporting.
- Conduct shrink appraisals on any store with a shrink result of over 1.5% within 2 months of publication
- Conduct investigations either preliminary or formal as appropriate
- Monitor and assess patterns with regards to shrink results
- Analyze store stock take results and action plans implemented to reduce loss.
- Protect stores premises through security reviews, particularly in high risk and new locations.
- Collaborate an share knowledge with the European Business Protection team.
Profile
- Three years store audit or loss prevention (preferred) in a retail environment
- Effective Verbal and written communication skills.
- Language Skills: Functional mastery of Dutch, French and English.
- Good planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages – Excel / Word and Powerpoint.
- Mobility throughout Belgium/NL/Gemany. Living not too far from European HQ in region Ghent-Zeehaven.
