Your new role
As a Key Account Manager you are responsible for maintaining and developing all parts sales and business opportunities within a regional base through strategic planning, marketing and sales activities. You will also be responsible for organizing the company's sales department by developing the existing network and the company's business strategy. You determine annual action plans and manage budgets. You develop the sales department by organizing meetings and interacting with the salespeople in your division and making sure that the numbers are reached. You are also constantly on the lookout for opportunities in new markets and you examine the competitive position of the company. You are also the representative of the company at trade fairs or exhibitions.
What you will need to succeed
To be taken into consideration you need to be perfectly bilingual FR/NL and you have a bachelor's degree in any sector. Knowledge of another language is an asset. You are able to analyse the market and make decisions that are useful to the company according to your analyses. As a good salesperson, you have excellent negotiation and communication skills and you are able to maintain long-term relationships with your customers. The challenge is a real motivation for you: you reach your goals at all costs. You like teamwork but working independently does not scare you because you have excellent organizational and planning skills. Finally, you are flexible, results oriented and have a real sales personality.
