Your tasks are
- Implement and drive a logistic vision which supports the regional growth strategy, profitability objectives and customer requirements; and establish the necessary strategic imperatives which enable the vision.
- Set up several new 3PL distribution at international level (including Transport In & Outbound) ensuring that distribution warehouses are sized, designed and staffed properly, in line with future requirements spanning volume, handling, storage, shipping Leadtime and specific customer’s needs.
- Ensure IT integration ( Infrastructure & Applications) & develop seamless processes between HQ, 3PL’s and transport partners.
- Drive standards and operational plans in support of business strategies and customer’s needs (B2B & Retail) with a direct decision-making impact on overall results.
- Responsible for the Logistic budget, you will oversee performance and drive improvements in quality, sustainability, cost and delivery through continuous improvement.
- Create long-term and short-term financial projections and manage key performance indicators.
- Build and lead the Logistics team in achievement of business objectives, owning personnel performance management, development and continuous learning plans.
- Challenge and motivate team members to reach their highest potential; create an environment that encourages risk-taking; promote teamwork; encourage and foster continuous professional development and career growth of a diverse workforce.
- Partner cross functionally to understand current demand and supply of stock to best support customer and supply chain network. Key liaison between Regional sales Manager, Local logistic Managers & Planning team.
Your profile
- Master in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply chain
- Min 10 to 15 years’ of in Logistics, Transportation / Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Business fluency in English. At least French or Dutch is required.
- Experience setting up and managing third-party logistics providers & multiple inventory locations.
- Experience in creating and owning the logistics budget, including all freight and warehousing spend
- Track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing ocean and air freight, forwarders, consolidators, brokers, and domestic transportation carriers.
- Competence in international logistics operations and trade regulations.
- Materials planning and controls process knowledge in sales, inventory, and operations planning processes, inventory management, WMS.
- Experience in deployment of WMS systems highly desired.

- Incorporate and integrate understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain to anticipate cross-functional impacts, interdependencies, and trade-offs.
- Good understanding of the financial flows and associated product flows, including tax strategies.
- Unquestioned integrity and excellent judgment.
- Ability to motivate external partners and get result through constructive relationships
- Proficient in standard office tools and business ERP’s.
