Business Development Manager
Mission
The Business Development Manager takes an active part in defining the commercial policy and is responsible for developing his client portfolio in order to increase the company's turnover and margin.
The position is home based.
Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial relationships and interactions with existing and prospective distributors and customers
- Promote the products and solutions to a wide array of prescribers : architects, engineering companies, building contractors, installers …
- Follow-up on the projects from design to delivery
- Deliver the annual sales budget
- Take part in sales and marketing activities
- Participate in trade fairs
Experience and profile
- Higher academic education in a business or technical field or equivalent experience
- 3-6 years experience in a b-2-b business development role within the building sector
- Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of French and/or English
- Commercial acumen, energy and integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self directed, autonomous and reliable
