Your responsibilities
Within the R&D team of Renson, we are looking for a R&D manager – Sunprotection. You have a clear view of the sun shading systems and technologies used in homes and buildings. From that insight you will;
- Lead and follow up new developments in sun shading solutions.
- Support the company with insights in the leading and emerging trends in the sun shading market.
- Responsible for the company’s sun shading technologies.
- Coach, develop and lead the company’s Sunprotection R&D Team.
- Provide hands-on leadership in research and development of projects from concept to commercialization focusing on innovative technology.
- Collaborate with internal or external parties to realize development projects of sun shading solutions.
- Responsible for R&D budget for the Business Unit Sunprotection
- Communication of new developments and technologies in close collaboration with our Product Management team
Your profile
- Master degree in electro/mechanical engineering, product development or related disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience in Research and Development management.
- Experience in sun shading technology or similar.
- Strong leadership skills including ability to influence / lead others with and without direct authority.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with all levels of the organization and externally with partners.
- Strong in project management/working towards deadlines
