Paralegal Officer

A new exciting opportunity as Paralegal Officer has just become available at one of our clients active in the financial sector. The company is based in the centre of Brussels and easily reachable by public transport.

You will cover a maternity leave (February-May).

You will perform the following tasks :

Preparing Board workplans and agendas
Collecting the preparatory documents for the meeting, proofread them, do their layout
Participating in the meetings and taking minutes
Following the action points from the meetings by collecting input from relevant stakeholders
Drafting legal documents
Reviewing internal policies and procedures, template agreements with clients
Reviewing or establishing contracts with service providers
Keeping the insurance portfolio
Coordinating the external legal advisor in providing opinions on other legal matters

The ideal profile of the Paralegal Officer :

An excellent knowledge of English with a very good command of French (both written and oral);
At least 3 years of experience in a legal function in a very demanding work environment. A first experience in a similar role will be considered a strong asset;
You have a good command of the MS Office package;
You can demonstrate an ability to manage a high workload and tight deadlines;
You are professional, flexible and able to manage a high workload while meeting tight deadlines;
You are organized, detail-oriented and autonomous
