Where you will work…
You will join the Integration team within the Commercial IT department where you, as part of a SCRUM team,will be responsible of connecting our core systems to the various platforms and components used within StepStone by providing a robust, scalable, well performant integration layer.
Responsibilities
As our new developer, you will:
- Be part of a SCRUM development team
- Work in a dynamic and challenging environment, using Java to translate business needs and processes into integrations between SAP Business ByDesign & CPQ Cloud and other business applications
- Develop good insights into the business needs and formulate propositions to meet them
- Apply coding best practices for building a catalogue of Java microservices
- Support the development process from scoping to release
- Ensure the health, stability and performance of the developed webservices
Your profile
Must Have:
- 3 years of experience in Java programming language, preferably knowledge of Java 11
- Knowledge of software design styles, rules and architectural patterns including REST and SOAP
- Knowledge of application testing and monitoring – unit/integrations testing,
- Experience with software frameworks – Spring, SpringBoot
- Experience working with Docker and AWS
- Experience with CI / CD (Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven) and VCS (GIT) tools
- Knowledge of SQL Databases – preferably MSSQL
- Good communication/interpersonal skills
- Very good knowledge of English
Nice to Have:
- CRM knowledge and experience with Cloud applications and related products
- Working knowledge of RMQ
- Knowledge of related tools and frameworks such as GIT, Jira, Confluence
- Agile experience
