A new exciting opportunity as Compensation & Benefits and Payroll Officer has just become available in an international company based in Brussels. You will report directly to the HR Director and have a Belgian and international scope.
As Compensation & Benefits and Payroll Officer you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Managing the Payroll and HR administration for Belgium
- Assisting the HR Director with HR Performance topics
- Designing, implementing, reviewing, maintaining and coordinating compensation package, reward & benefits programs, policies, processes and tools and ensure they are current, competitive and in legal compliance,
- Setting-up recommendations and assisting the HR Director regarding benefits update, bonus programs and benchmark
- Creating, updating and analysing job descriptions and classifications
- Assisting in the Employee Engagement program (identify new trends, satisfactions surveys, reporting)
- Being responsible for HR data's reporting (Belgian and International)
The ideal Profile of the Compensation & Benefits and Payroll Officer:
- You have a Master degree (law, Business Management, HR)
- You have a first proven experience in hard HR.
- You've already worked in an international environment or you're very interested in developing your skills at international level.
- You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office, specifically of Excel
- You have Hands-on experience with HR reporting
- You speak fluently French and English. Any other European language is an asset.
- You are familiar with labour legislation and keep yourself up to date with the latest changes.
- You are not afraid to work with figures and have good analytical skills
- You are detail oriented and well organised
- You are solution minded
- You have a collaborative leadership style
- You are assertive and proactive
