Your responsibilities
- Conceptualizing, designing, developing and deploying solutions which solve technological challenges in the telecommunications industry
- Collaborating closely with other Software Developers, Data Analysts, Telco Experts and Pre-Sales Engineers
- You will present prototypes and minimum viable products to stakeholders and internal/external customers, using knowledge of the solution and technologies to influence the direction and evolution of the product
- You will ensure code is maintainable and scalable by design, facilitating handover of viable solutions for further development and maintenance
- Assuming project management responsibilities to drive the corresponding activities in budget, time and quality
- Becoming a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional R&D Team
Your profile
- Have a good understanding of telecommunications, both technologically as well as industry-wise
- Have over 5 years’ software development experience, regardless if within professional industry or academia
- Bring strong practical experience in programming with Python, Scala or R. SQL and/or JavaScript are a plus
- You’re familiar with cloud-based infrastructure, especially AWS and Docker containers
- Strong background in Data Analytics is a plus
- Follow an agile software development mindset
- Like to push the envelope in adopting new technologies, algorithms and frameworks
- Highly turn-key and innovations oriented, being intellectually curious
- Your English skills are excellent
