Your responsibilities
Our Global Origination department within Uniper Global Commodities SE in Düsseldorf is looking for you !
- Identify, develop, negotiate and execute complex structured energy transactions with embedded optionality, such as renewable PPAs, tolling agreements and green certificates/ GoOs
- Develop and negotiate partnership opportunities and offtake agreements in International Hydrogen markets
- Maximize the value associated with existing contracts and assets
- Engage in and add value to asset development/ hedging/ portfolio decision making processes according to the Contractual Assets Strategy
- Develop and maintain relationships with traditional and non-traditional clients/customers to enable business via multiple commodities
- Explore markets and promote new products in collaboration with other commodity desks, channel and distribute information and opportunities
- Originate new - out-of-the box - marketing and trading opportunities with counter-parties/clients to enlarge UNIPER's playing field
Your profile
- Familiarity with long-term renewable offtake agreements, counter-party credit requirements, performance assurance, default provisions, delivery provisions, etc
- Strong understanding of and view on European power and gas market fundamentals, interconnections, generation assets and market players
- Extensive analytical and financial experience with financial statements, credit analysis, risk metrics
- Quantitative modelling skills - demonstrable knowledge of either asset modelling or modelling and pricing commodity structures
- Strong team player, able to cooperate with members from internal support desks (Operations, Documentation, Risk, Legal ) or other Front Office desks) to head the deal lifecycle from initiation to execution
- Thorough knowledge of market regulations and sector regulatory frameworks, including congestion mitigation mechanisms, generator interconnection rules, dispatch, balancing, ancillary services and capacity allocations etc.
- Fluency in English is required
