The Fraud Department is an entity whose main mission is the efficient handling of disputes submitted by our clients and external alerts. The analysis and follow-up of detected document fraud is crucial.
As Team Leader Fraud (3 people), your mission is as follows:
- You will enrich Buy Way's strategy in terms of Fraud and remain attentive to market developments in this area.
- You ensure that you are always at the forefront in this field.
- Together with your team, you prevent, detect and manage disputes proactively and efficiently in order to limit fraud-related losses.
- You organise the management of disputes and coordinate all parties involved.
- You review existing procedures and manuals and create new ones.
- You identify, analyze, acquire and use monitoring tools that allow you to proactively detect and deal with fraud attempts.
- You maintain strong working relationships with your counterparts at other financial institutions as well as with the relevant regulatory and legal authorities. You actively participate in the work of relevant organizations to combat fraud.
- You follow the progress of fraud cases and adjust scores or rules in all internal systems to prevent or reduce challenges.
- You make other departments within the company aware of alerts received and draw their attention to important issues.
