The role of Supply Chain Planning Analyst:
Your mission as a Supply Chain Planning analyst is to minimize the costs through the optimization of the planning process. You will be responsible for the demand and production planning, forecasting and network improvements. As part of the planning team you will function as a back-up to ensure planning continuity.
Your Key Accountabilities:
Use Supply Chain and Inventory Management techniques to develop production and transportation plans ensuring high service levels at low cost.
Identify & implement relocation flows to guide European planning
Produce optimal network location and capacity. Build optimal supply plans.
Guide local teams in optimal stock allocation.
Deliver scenario and contingency planning framework.
Collaborate with sales management team to gather field intelligence regarding customer ordering behavior.
Participate in monthly reviews of demand forecast with Sales, Sales Finance, and Planning managers and directors.
Build long-term production/flow plans based on forecasted evolutions.
Be an essential part of the Sales & Operations Planning process in all its stages.
Manage use of CHEP optimization tools (JDA, others) to deliver accurate data & reporting.
Track outcomes of short-term planning & budget to forecast demand, depict trends and assess variances.
Identify short, medium- and long-term opportunities for company direct cost saving and assess their potential impact
Build ad-hoc analysis required by the business.
