The B2Holding Group’s office in Luxembourg is looking for an experienced NPL portfolio valuation analyst with a background in unsecured non-performing loans (NPLs) and risk analysis to work in a high profile, international team, analysing NPL portfolio opportunities in the assigned markets across Europe.
The Luxembourg office is diverse and multi-national, thus a good balance of analytical and communication skills is necessary to succeed in the role. The position is open for international applicants.

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert and innovator in NPL valuations and portfolio management. You will perform NPL portfolio valuations in cooperation with local B2Holding teams, peer-review investment recommendations for NPL purchases and advise the Group’s executive committees in matters related to NPL portfolio valuation and acquisition. Further, you will analyse B2Holding's investment portfolio performance and work with the operational teams to identify issues and propose relevant actions. It is important that you partner with internal analytical, financial, operational, legal and compliance teams to understand the context of portfolio value and properly assess potential and existing investments. You will also be expected to design, monitor, and analyse KPIs in the area of portfolio risk and performance.
The Senior Valuation Analyst will participate in and support corporate projects, for example in Data & Analytics which is highly relevant these days. You must be prepared to deliver executive presentations, perform in-depth client, industry, market, and competitor research and participate in due diligence processes and negotiations, providing analytical support.
Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Finance, Economics) Post-graduate degree in a similar field and/or an MBA
CFA certification will be an advantage 3-6 years of direct experience in NPL asset valuation
A good understanding of portfolio management (portfolio strategies and work-out) and legal debt collection frameworks in one or more European markets will be an advantage

You are fluent in business English and have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, manipulating large data sets, scenarios, pivots, charts etc. It is a given that you can work in diverse, international teams such as B2Holding.
