Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in Brussels:

Senior Sales Executive (M/F/X)

Your responsibilities

  • Upholding sales goals and targets and managing a strategic book of business of large, complex accounts within a specialization targeted at growth and penetration.

  • Strategizing account expansion initiatives, directing and conducting thorough research through various channels of information and targeting specific accounts leveraging a large professional network to proactively generating growth within an area of specialization.

  • Representing the business for large, complex, high-risk and high-yield accounts, develops sales presentations and formal sales proposals for related accounts.

  • Overseeing  the sales process for complex, high-risk, high-yield accounts and works to ensure account satisfaction along all phases of the sales process while negotiating outcomes that create value for the account and the business.

  • Evaluating the book of business, leverages internal contacts, internal product developments and market developments to identify areas of opportunity and expansion for existing accounts.

  • Leveraging an advanced awareness and understanding of client needs and internal service offerings to deliver the firm to accounts and clients and facilitate relationships to diversify account involvement and maximize value.

  • Accountably for account relationship and business satisfaction ensuring overall service needs are met and attentively addresses concerns or requests to best serve the account and all account needs.

  • Serving as a recognized figure and resource within a specialization with proven credibility, and acts as the chief point of contact for key stakeholders from existing or former accounts to ensure professional relationships are upheld and nourished.

  • Responsible for the handling and elaboration of technical solutions to the needs of your Multinational clients.

  • Responsible for the proffered solutions and follow-up of the entire file.

 

Technical responsibilities:

  • Managing the full range of activities related to insurance purchasing required by the client from requesting offers to inputting the policy conditions into different management systems, following up success.

  • Keeping tabs on the development of the technical aspects of the policies.

  • Working  in close cooperation with different colleagues in all Marsh departments both in Belgium and abroad.

  • Staying on top of Market trends and product developments.

  • Working on diverse projects for specific clients.

  • Managing and report on the financial changes of your client portfolio.

Your profile

  • Relevant college/university degree required, or relevant experience within a similar function or area of expertise.

  • Minimum 10 years substantial business experience.

  • Excellent Sales and Client relationship competencies.

  • Comprehensive technical understanding of products and markets.

  • Inspiring leadership, capable to manage ambiguity.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven agile mindset, in a changing environment.

  • Results and solution oriented.

  • Good relationship builder, both with clients and internally.

  • Project management skills.

  • Strategic and financial acumen.

  • Fluent in English and at least in French or Dutch
