To reinforce our Electronics team, VeroTech is looking for a Optical Designer.

For a project designing miniature spectrometers, VeroTech is looking for a Senior Optical Designer, with experience in miniature optics design.

• Developing optical system architectures
• Developing practical solutions to advanced technical problems in engineering.
• Designing optical designs for imaging systems using ZEMAX or other optical design tools.
• Perform ray tracing simulations
• Analyze optical system performance

You will work in a multidisciplinary team together with other optical design experts, but also electronics and software designers

• Master in Engineering or Physics
• At least 5 years of academic (PhD) or industrial experience in optical engineering
• Proven working experience with optical design in Zemax or similar optical tools
• Experience with ray tracing
• Wafer level or die level optical design experience is a big asset
• Excellent communication skills in English
