Our client, specialized in the production of high-technological materials, is looking for a hands-on Senior HR Manager.
Implementation, translation and localization of the company’s HR and BU strategy and policies in close cooperation with relevant COE or HRD and ensuring that local regulations are respected. 10%
Act as change agent and actively manage employee and industrial relations (collective labor agreements, works council, unions, industry/employer organization…) in support of business or organizational growth or changes. Foster open communication and run employee engagement programs aiming at a positive atmosphere at all times. Will be part of works council and lead union meetings. 20%
Review organizational needs with line managers and work together to develop and plan for the future organization (Talent Review, Succession planning, Employee development….) Lead and manage organizational change to achieve results. Coach line managers and supervisory personnel to improve overall business performance, people development and employee retention. 30%
Manage day-to-day recruitment, learning & development, resource planning/tracking, performance, payroll and benefits processes ensuring quality and timely service delivery to internal customers. Ensure pro-active communication surrounding these processes. Have appropriate controls in place and respected (process discipline). Improve and optimize HR processes and HRIS systems (this includes payroll processen). 30%
Ensure data integrity and protection. Optimize use of systems in support of HR processes, business monitoring and KPI reporting. 10%
Directly supervises 4 HR professionals.
7-10 years experience in a production environment preferably part of a larger international group
Industrial relations experience (union representation, works council and union negotiations)
Able to ‘translate’ business objectives into an engaging story
Change management and coaching skills
Some project management skills (planning and organization)
Drive for process development and strong execution
Good knowledge of English in addition to Dutch
Obtain competencies from your HR team
Timely decision making and priority setting
