They are looking to reinforce their finance team in order to support this fast growth. The ideal candidate will be a trilingual senior accountant who wants to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment, yet with ideal working conditions (full description below of the benefits).
Your job will get you to be active both in accounting and financial analysis. Indeed, your goal will be to maintain updated accounts and furthermore to give the company's management a clear overview on their financial situation.
The job is located in Ixelles/Elsene, with occasional travel expected to Limburg.
Your responsibilities
Senior Accountant - Your responsibilities
- Review and Reconcile AP/AR
- Establish VAT returns and assist in the preparation of the yearly corporate tax return
- Prepare external audits
- Supervise payments and keep a close eye on cash flow/treasury
- Produce regular reporting for the management
- Improve internal procedures and efficiency in general
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
Your profile
Senior Accountant - Your Profile
- Bachelor in Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French. A good knowledge (at least B2) is expected in the other national language. You need to be able to communicate with both Dutch- and French-speaking accounting teams.
