At AXA Bank Belgium we are looking for a Security Risk Expert to complete our highly collaborative team. Something can happen anytime in our day-to-day business, you safeguard our company for new threats that are a security risk for the service delivery to our customers. As an independent expert, you support and challenge the business, ensuring that they are aware of their responsibility in terms of information security.
Under your lead security risks within AXA Bank are identified and addressed in a qualitative manner. You help shape a security awareness culture within the bank, i.e. by having a continuous focus on how information is managed.
You provide insight in the threats in terms of security risks in the AXA Bank landscape and support the development of a strategy to anticipate to those threats, suggesting future proof solutions.
Security risk policies and practices within AXA Bank are developed by you. You make sure they are well documented and consistent with local regulations and requirements. Their implementation will be under your coordination.
Thanks to you, the business is aware of security risks. As expert you advise the business and project managers, supporting in identifying risks and challenging them in risk response and eventual risk acceptance.
Third parties learn form you the correct and complete security requirements when working for AXA Bank. You ensure that those requirements are included in their contracts and will oversee their compliance.
The quality of the risk assessment for the business, applications and third parties are monitored and reported on by you.
In order to quickly take up the role, it is preferred that you have a Master's degree (computer science, engineer, economics, etc.) and that you have gained professional experience in the area of Information Security and Information Risk Management.
Not only do others listen to you when you give advice as an expert, but you can also convince them of the importance of your point so that they will apply it. Furthermore, you also understand the art of translating complex concepts and ideas into 'layman's language.'
You have an analytical mind and are solution oriented.
You have a strong affinity with and interest in risk management and have experience in IT Security and security as a whole.

To be able to make yourself understood by your colleagues, you speak fluent Dutch, and you can express yourself professionally in English and French.
If you have a Security Risk related certificate (such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.), it is certainly an asset, but it is not a must.
