The client is looking for a customer-focused sales engineer who will manage a large project and who is used of managing large contracts.
As a sales engineer, you'll be working on a new project in the chemical industry which is situated in the port of Antwerp.
This involves mostly product management and coordinating sub contractors. You will take the lead to get to know these subcontractors and know exactly what they do. To discuss the details about for example the piping system you will have meetings with the engineers. To build out the business with the subcontractors you will assign account managers for their conversion into sales. You will also visit job sites and engineering offices to assess design problems - as well as opportunities - giving technical advice, solutions and support, and adding value through the use of the products.
It also means looking into new business prospects by running customer surveys for product development, and working with sales teams to develop local strategies.
Day to day, you'll report to your Field Engineer Manager, who will also be there to help guide you in your career.
