We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for our IT Applications Procurement team. This team manages strategic software related procurement projects. The purchasing manager is the internal business partner for all stakeholders in the procurement file.
Tasks & Responsibilities
You build, develop and implement a procurement strategy (category plan) for the software category in close collaboration with the business lines and the IT department. Therefor, you keep in mind the strategy of the Proximus Group, market knowledge, as well as operational, technical and legal requirements.
You manage complex software procurement files from beginning to end, in close collaboration with the business units and IT teams (cross functional teams). Your goal is to create value for Proximus, to contribute tot he growth of the company and to manage risks.
You provide guidance on the procurement procedure and negotiate with suppliers, respecting the Proximus rules and regulations.
You manage the relationship with your most important suppliers (Supplier Relationship Management) and monitor their performance, aiming to create value for Proximus.
You maintain a constructive relationship with the different procurement teams, business lines, technical teams and suppliers.
