We are currently looking for an Operations Manager for the SGS Notified Body 1639 in Antwerp.
The main responsibilities will be to support the local Notified Body 1639 group in, improving performance, securing compliance and managing its global network and projects. You should find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all affiliates in our global network.
As our Operations Manager you implement and improve our certification procedures. You ensure adequate follow up of procedure functioning by setting up, evaluation and reporting KPI’s and ensure procedures are followed up globally. In your role as an Operations Manager you liaise with global affiliate offices and their project managers on behalf of Notified Body 1639.
You organize internal follow-up & procedures for customer inflow, project handling and customer feedback and coordinate operations over our 2 main locations Belgium & UK.
Ultimately, a successful Operations Manager should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office but also keep a keen eye on adhering to procedures and standards.
For this challenging opportunity we are looking for someone with a Master degree in a relevant field: Engineering, Biomedical sciences eg.
Additional training in operational management a definite plus PMP, Six Sigma or equivalent is an asset)
Our ideal new colleague has a proven experience as an Operations Manager and is analytic and critical in observation, yet capable of implement findings in improvement plans based on forecasting.
