Operational Excellence Leader Europe

Our client is leading international manufacturer. Geographically, they operate in 3 major regions being Asia, Europe and America and take pride in the world-class level of their core technologies.

In order to further develop the lean management philosophy across one of their European BU’s, they are currently looking to recruit an OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE LEADER EUROPE

The Operational Excellence Leader is directly contributing to the Lean Management System deployment by leading its implementation across the entire business unit englobing manufacturing, supply chain, sales & marketing, customer service and support functions. As member of the Management team, he reports directly to the GM of the BU.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the success of the Operational Excellence projects thanks to his leadership, mentorship & expertise
• Define and upgrade the OE standards with the support of the different departments
• Promote OE within the BU (trough contribution to conventions/workshops, Academy, newsletters …)
• Coach & liaise closely with the OE experts located in Poland, France, Russia & Czech Republic
• Coordinate and align with the department heads & managers (manufacturing, supply chain, sales, marketing, support functions …)
• Identify gaps and OE’s main challenges and priorities
• Ensure depth of transformation and sustainability, promote cultural change & “lean” way of thinking
• Follow up & monitor if standards are respected.

• Master’s degree or bachelor
• Lean Management experience (minimum 5 years), preferably not related to manufacturing
• Working processes and requirements of the automotive industry is an asset but not a must
• Very strong communication skills
• Capacity to influence, inspire & convince
• Teacher and coach mindset
• Goal & action oriented with ability to perform analysis
• Focus on delivering value and continuous improvement
• Willingness to regular travel in Europe (40%)
• Fluent in English. Any additional European language is an asset.
