Linguist for Semantic Search - Dutch

For our Search Team we are looking for a native Dutch speaker with a background in Linguistics, Translation, or Natural Language Processing to contribute to the improvement of semantic matching in the recruitment domain. This position is part-time (up to 80%) and permanent.

The search team is split across offices in Brussels, Berlin, Munich and London, so you will work in an international environment with a team of experienced and like-minded colleagues.

• Be responsible for the quality of Dutch linguistic resources (taxonomies, dictionaries, grammars)
• Work on testing and maintenance of quality for ongoing projects
• Process and analyse data to inform the evolution of semantic search
• Monitor developments in semantic search technology and evaluate for the recruitment domain

• Degree in Linguistics, Translation or Computational Linguistics or professional experience with Natural Language Processing/Text Analytics
• Experience with applying concepts from morphology, syntax and semantics to data
• Knowledge of Python and SQL databases highly desired
• Experience with writing grammars for natural languages would be an asset
• Native Dutch speaker
• Fluency in English (working language throughout the company) is essential, other languages such as Spanish, German, Polish and/or French are a plus
