Introduction
As a young and ambitious company, working in the development and production of renewable energy, we at Eoly Energy are looking for an energetic new colleague. For our Business Development team, we are hiring a Junior Financial Modeler.
Your responsibilities
As our Financial Modeler, you will be responsible for the following items:
- The overall design of models supporting the development of our energy activities.
- Consultation with key experts (internal/external) for data collection and study validation.
- Literature review and critical analysis for model data retrieval.
- Building and reviewing project finance and acquisition models.
- Managing financial models for internal purposes (financial statements, profitability, etc.).
- Managing cost models.
- Building scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Generate, improve and iterate on financial forecasts/projections to support management in capital raising and cash management.
- Internal validation modeling for decision committees.
- Creating the models for tender submission.
- Publishing and presenting analyses to Business Development and Management.
- Support of the teams in refining payment mechanisms and associated risks.
- A smooth and close collaboration with the Business Development team.
Your profile
- You have obtained a university master's degree in economics, mathematics, or similar.
- You love numbers and calculations! You have got some strong numeric skills.
- You are an Excel wizard.
- You have a profound knowledge of Project finance and/or M&A activities.
- Preferably you already have some experience in a larger financial institution or within another relevant financial role.
- Knowledge of, or experience in, the energy sector is definitely an asset.
- You are fluent in English. In addition, you also have a decent knowledge of Dutch and French.
