Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
The main accountabilities for this job include:
- Prepare various industrial performance reports in order to support Industrial Controller, Country Finance Manager or any manufacturing responsible in the plant.
- Process of input related to budget (1 exercise a year) or forecast (3 exercises a year) in order to complete budget or forecast industrial workbook (or related reports).
- Provide yearly input for completion of the Standard Cost Evolution schedules.
- Provide industrial information for quarterly works council and quarterly Legal Entity Review Meetings.
- Perform required checks to assure correctness of the inventory reporting (inventory reclassifications, obsolete and excess reserve, cycle count adjustments/ cycle count reserve, MRO aging reserve, FIFO …).
- Gather investment related information from proper investment systems or request/get data from the Business.
- Prepare, analyze and explain various tax and investment related reports for the Belgian Government and Tax authorities (Kadaster, Driving force, Investment related Statistics, …)
- Give support to internal and external audits: be able to explain how the job is executed and the link with the corresponding business processes.
- Gather cost related information from proper (worldwide & local) systems or request/get data from the business.
- Maintain mark-up and costing tables/parameters.
- Validate manufacturing BOM & routings.
- Maintain the manufacturing standard cost database.
- Create and maintain intercompany purchase orders.
- Monitor cost related system interfaces, cost consistency between different (worldwide and local) systems and take proper action to solve inconsistencies.
- Follow up, analysis & reporting on product cost evolution (through monthly actual cost calculation).
- Calculate and report material and absorption budget as input for Industrial budget and forecast calculations.
- Calculate the year-over-year inventory (direct/indirect material).
- Give support to internal and external audits: be able to explain how the job is executed and the link with the corresponding business processes.
- Maintain knowledge about the policies and (central) instructions in the cost control area and highlighting inconsistencies if occur.
- Develop and maintain desktop procedures related to all aspects of the cost analyst job.
- Align and verify with the business on costing related topics.
Jouw profiel
The requested qualifications for this job include:
- You have a Master's Degree in economics (or equal through experience).
- You have an expert knowledge and application of Excel and Access.
- You have strong analytical skills and are very accurate.
- You are flexible and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- You speak and write English and Dutch fluently.
- You are a team player who is down to earth and knows how to get things done.
- You are able to treat information in a confidential way.
- You have a strong interest and affinity with a production environment.
- You have strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
