Our IT department is expanding along with the company itself; it handles a large number of challenging projects and continuously adapts our various ERP systems. Today, testing is done by our Development team and there is no autonomous testing function yet.
In this new and exciting role you’ll be working with a range of systems, with SAP forming the common thread. We are currently working with SAP ECC and S4Hanna, for example, and we are rolling out SAP C4C. At the same time, we handle plenty of other, smaller applications.
To make sure these operate smoothly and to maintain the quality of our production systems, we are looking for a (m/f) Test Coordinator to join the department.
Eventually, we may consider implementing a test-automation tool. You will be the driving force behind this! You will report directly to our CIO.
Your role
- You are responsible for taking our company’s testing process to a sophisticated level.
- You also conduct tests yourself in our different applications, which allows you to get to know our applications and processes.
- You prepare and try out test activities for a portfolio of different projects.
- You analyse existing needs and eventually manage the team.
- Your test activities include the following (among other tasks):
- analysing the test basis (user stories, functional and technical design)
- drafting quality plans and test plans
- preparing and executing test cases in the system & integration test phases
- preparing and overseeing user tests
- monitoring progress; ensuring all stakeholders meet their strict deadlines
- drafting reports
- You are the linchpin of the different business departments and the IT team (testers, analysts and our various partners’ developers).
Your profile
- You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably as a consultant, or wide-ranging experience of working with projects in a complex, demanding and international environment
- You have gained initial experience as a team lead, which has taught you how to motivate others and respect deadlines
- Since our most important processes run on SAP, knowledge and experience of SAP is definitely a big asset.
- You have experience in the different phases of the testing process
- Your experience covers both functional system tests and more technical tests like database and interface testing
- You have also worked with test coordination and reporting
- You have a hands-on mentality and are able to operate independently
- You have solid insight into business processes
- You are known for your strong analytical skills, precision, professional and convincing way of communicating, resistance to stress and organisational skills.
- You have a sense of responsibility and innovation
- You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English and working knowledge of French.
- Knowledge and experience of test automation tools will be considered an asset.
