For our client, a company in the industrial sector specialized in a niche market, we are looking for an International Sales Representative to join the team and take on a new commercial challenge!
The purpose of the job is to handle large industrial clients within the Benelux as well as develop new markets in France and the UK. You start internally at the central offices based in Flemish Brabant to learn the procedures and products. After a few months, you become responsible for clients and are in charge of handling their accounts. You identify the technical problems and sell tailor-made products to them. You collaborate with the other internal departments in order to sell the best solution to the client. Next to this, you are in charge of developing new businesses in France and the UK. Therefore, you have to contact new clients (for instance from agricultural or pharmaceutical sector) and try to open new accounts. You are in daily contact with purchase and technical departments. You are mainly on the road to visit your clients and will have the opportunity to travel to the countries you are in charge of. As the company is a SME, you will report directly to the Managing Director.
We are looking for a trilingual candidate who speaks Dutch, French and English fluently. Any other European language is definitely a plus. We are open to junior candidates without previous experience as well as candidates with more experience. However, a knowledge of or at least an affinity with technical products is mandatory! Moreover, the personality is also determining: you have to be independent, able to work within a small company and therefore be a multitasker, be curious and willing to learn & to develop your expertise. We are looking for flexible candidates, with no 9-to-5 mentality and a strong commercial sense.
