HR Service Center Manager

Job description
- As dedicated Manager of the HR Service Center you are responsible for the correct and timely execution of salary and HR administration for the Volvo Group in Belgium (4,500 employees on site).
- You determine the vision for your department and ensure the implementation of guidelines and policies, in close collaboration with the HR stakeholders.
- In order to reach the department goals, you coach your 10 team members towards taking ownership and you contribute to their professional development and wellbeing at work.
- Together with your team, you take actions to continuously optimise and digitalise the HR processes and systems. In this regard you stay informed about all important changes in social security and employment law, general HR trends and new developments.
- You coordinate the collaboration with external partners, such as interim agencies, the payroll provider & leasing company.
- You follow-up on the payroll processing of the executives and expats in consultation with the tax provider.
- You build a strong internal network and position yourself as trusted advisor for the business.
- You take part in reflections on the strategic development of the Volvo Group HR vision.
- You report directly to the VP HR Services NEMEA.
Profile
- You have a Master’s degree and a relevant professional background in managing complex payroll processes and customer-oriented HR services. Ideally you also have knowledge of tax and foreign employment.
- You are a self-starter who likes to take initiatives both on an operational and a strategic level.
- You have strong interpersonal skills that allow you to network across the organisation and with external partners.
- You are an enthusiastic leader who believes in the development and empowerment of team members.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
