For an international group in the financial sector, we are hiring an HR Business Partner Projects and strategy.
You will be located in Brussels (near a station) and you will advise, coach and partner up with the business on a permanent basis.
Provides HR consultancy advice and guidance on HR issues to business leaders and managers, ensuring the implementation and application of agreed upon global HR policies and represents the needs of the local OE or GL business strategies and operations in the HR community on country level
Supports the site management in the resolution of individual local HR issues, interacts with employee representatives on site, and links the site operations to HR Services and Centres of Expertise teams as appropriate and necessary to assure a sound local HR service delivery
Acts as HR strategist as well as change agent and implementation advisor on site level. Monitors solutions, policies and feedback to drive continual improvement within the delivery of strategies, services and solutions from HR to the business.
Acts as Tier 3 case resolution following escalation from HR Services.
At least 3 years of experience as HR BP within a large matrix environment
Solid experience in collaborating with multiple senior stakeholders, ability to strongly influence others and clearly present and discuss information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and help them gain understanding
Understanding of Insurance business, HR processes and HR guidelines, legal, tax and current remuneration regulations and standards, market practices, market data insights and benchmarking that will allow maintaining the competitive edge within the market place
Proven track record in project management and change management are definite pluses.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and facilitation skills to integrate different views & interests in an intercultural environment. He/She has a commercial mind-set and the ability to make independent decisions in line with organizational priorities.
He/She also has the ability to be strong sparring partner to business stakeholders – creativity and imagination to get to yes, with the courage to say no.
