In this role you are the point of contact for both managers and employees and you have a supporting and advisory role. You give managers guidance on managing their teams.
You monitor the internal consistency on the terms of employment, in compliance with the company HR strategy, policies, as well as the social legislation.
In addition to your operational tasks, you contribute to various HR projects such as wellbeing programs, change management, internal communication, absenteeism, remote working, satisfaction surveys, and so on
You contribute to maximum HR efficiency and play a role in the development, optimisation and implementation of HR processes. You contribute to an efficient and cost-conscious HR policy.
You keep yourself continuously informed of the evolutions and developments in the field of HR and social legislation.
You manage the onboarding of new employees, internal mobility/promotions, performance appraisals and retention.
You support your colleagues of Recruitment, Payroll and Talent Development in the implementation and follow up of their activities throughout the company.
You support the quality department in all HR audit requirements.
You offer strategic recommendations, make decisions and carry out goals.
And last but not least: as an HR business partner, it is up to you to bring the company's corporate culture to life and ensure that it supports growth. At the same time, it is also your job to communicate your corporate culture and everything to do with it to the outside world.
Your scope of activities is mainly Belgium, but you will also act as HR Business Partner for the employees in the UK and Ireland.
You have at least several years of HR experience and you have a good knowledge of Belgian social legislation You've worked in a global company and you speak fluent English. You have strong communications and interpersonal skills, you are able to adapt appropriately and you are able to implement and follow up on new processes. Your are analytical and sound planning and organizational skills. Ms Office has no secrets for you and can negotiate with a variety of partners. In this position you will report to the Head of HR.
