The basics
- Strong background in PHP development using frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, …)
- Confident using MySQL, creating and adjusting relational database schemas
- Solid understanding of Javascript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with at least one Javascript framework (React, VueJs, Angular, …)
- Solid understanding of the full web technology stack
- Experience consuming third-party APIs
- Version control using git
- Successful track record of looking at requirements, putting together estimates and delivering projects on schedule
Nice to have
- Experience with Drupal and WordPress
- Knowledge of CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, …)
- Passion for clean, maintainable code
- Ability to quickly make sense of and update existing code bases
- Experience with NodeJS
- Familiar with setting up and managing a LAMP development environment using Linux command line
