A new function as Financial Controller has just become available for a leading multinational firm in Sint-Katelijne-Waver.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for:
- Support the monthly reporting of group results
- Control, report and comment evolution of group KPI's (for example group FTE's)
- Understand the corporate reporting tool set and take initiative to enhance this according to business needs liaising with finance and business stakeholders
- Work on improvement initiatives on processes and systems in group controlling
- Assist in the preparation of group wide policies and procedures
- Help to shift the needle from reporting the past to a forward-looking approach
- Coordinate the status report of the transformation projects and challenge the status quo
- Support the long-term planning process
- Prepare accurate ad hoc analyses
- Coordinate the financial budgeting calendar together with the reporting team
Profile of ideal Financial Controller:
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- High curiosity to understand the business reality behind the numbers
- Clear and to the point communication style. Able to visualise data and present them to different stakeholders.
