FREELANCE DATA ENGINEER

Hays helps its client, who is the European leader in industrial manufacturing systems, in its search for a freelance Data Engineer. This concerns a long-term freelance project, starting with a 6-month contract in the Halle area

You will be joining a division working on software for clients in the R&D industry. As a data engineer, you are client facing to get insight on the clients needs. You are responsible for analyses and incorporating the business perspective to the technical requirements. As you know the database, you will know where modeling, customisation or integration is necessary, depending on the business needs.

To be successful in this role, you have experience with Node.JS and SQL. You also have a good knowledge of Python and basic knowledge of statistics. Linux systems have no secrets for you and you have worked with CSS, HTML and Javascript before. Preferably, you have about 2-4 years of work experience. You have strong communicative skills, are proactive, know how to work efficiently with budgets and have a proper sense of responsibility.

You will be placed on a long-term contract with the intention to support in your technical data development skills by training and the expertise of senior talent, as your work is impactful and important.
