Diversity and inclusion matter at AXA. It are your skills and talent that make the difference.
AXA Bank's Transformation department manages the organisation's IT landscape and oversees IT and business projects alike, whilst making sure these two aspects remain aligned. This makes the department into a spearhead of transformation within AXA Bank, in helping to build and secure the bank's future with an ambitious programme aimed at offering our clients a comprehensive, premier quality range of services by focusing on crucial customer journeys.
Within the Transformation department, you will be joining the Architecture and Innovation team. As an Enterprise Architect you will act as a lynchpin between the business and the IT delivery team. You will be drawing the markers and patterns of our IT landscape for a specific delivery domain and establish the architectural achievement scenarios for a number of transformation projects on our road map.
In a technology-driven sector, this role is therefore crucial within AXA Bank for the business's onward development in today's digital world.
Your cross-organisational view of the bank and its eco system will enable you to contribute to the accomplishment of the bank's transformation.
You advise Management on the to-be architecture of the bank and how this is to be accomplished
You will act as the reference officer for and the custodian of the architecture in one or several of the bank's domains (e.g. Daily Banking, Loans, Invest, etc.) and in addition develop a specialist field of your own (e.g. Infrastructure, Security, etc.).
You will match business needs and wishes with appropriate technical solutions and alternatives. Your involvement starts the outset of a project and goes all the way up to and including to the implementation of the structure. During the design and implementation phases, you provide support to the product and project teams and follow up on the accomplishment
You help translate epics on the roadmap into deliverables across product teams and identify capabilities to meet the needs that exist
You keep non-architects, business and C levels within the bank up to date of your findings and recommendations.
You instinctively take a constructive-critical helicopter view of things, see the bigger picture and are able to build a vision on how you will be moulding matters into an IT architecture in a future-proof manner. More specifically, you take a particular interest in technology developments and how they (may) impact on the world of banking
To enable you to swiftly assume the role, we would like to see you hold a Master's degree and have some solid professional experience under your belt in the area of Enterprise / IT architecture
Your personal qualities include self-reliance, persuasiveness and smooth presentation skills, whilst displaying a due sense of tact and diplomacy at all times.
You are the rock others can rely on to instil structure into and bring a bird's eye perspective of the chaos and to break down the whole into manageable parts. This also comes to the fore in your methodical approach and follow-up
Finally, to ensure fluent communications with your colleagues we expect you to be fluent in Dutch and English. A command of French for professional communications is also decidedly
considered a plus.
You are duly familiar with API management, process orchestration, open banking, 3rd party API integrations
A due understanding of how architecture works in an agile context / a due command of information processing systems and/or suites in the banking industry / experience in the financial service industry (such as a due understanding of retail banking activities and risk management, etc.) is certainly a strong suit, though not a must
