Your responsibilities
- Become our internal expert on boiler controls and regulations
- Interaction with external suppliers on the specification, development and validation of electronic boiler controls
- Part of the project team for the development of new products
- Software revision management of electronic controls
- Lab validation of control algorithms and functional boiler behavior
- Support new development projects as the dedicated resource/expert for electronics
- As a project resource & expert, you will also manage the engineering aspects of implementing the hardware and software on the final product
- Collaborate with other project engineers and lab technicians
- Certification of boiler controls & EMC testing
- Lead the hardware aspects of boiler controls, I/O definition, connectors, PCB/display integration & wiring
- Assist in the analysis of field quality cases
- Create strong links & leverage best practices with the equivalent members of the other Groupe R&D’s
Your profile
QUALIFICATION
- Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering or equivalent trough experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Deep understanding of analog and digital electronics
- General experience in electronic design/development, verification and testing, detailed reporting and this for (consumer) electronics products
- Knowledge on schematic designs and PCB layout & hardware definition
- Understanding of low voltage electrics & wiring
- Experience with embedded programming is a plus
- Experience with industrial standards and certifications (e.g., LVD, EMC, CE marking) is a plus
- Experience in connectivity is a plus
