This Service Sales Specialist has the task of delivering the Drives & Motor service portfolio to ABB customers in Belgium, helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the Service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on-site.
Supporting partners and end customers in the development of their service strategy and advocate the different service possibilities (service agreements, IOT solutions, upgrades, etc.), will allow them to optimize their production and maintain the right focus.
Reporting by the Sales Manager, you will develop further with professional trainings and coaching and will be supported by our product specialists.
Utilizing the database to grasp the existing installed base, and further expand our customer base, to identify and develop sales opportunities
Establishing long-term customer relationships, through regular visits and telephone contacts, reacting immediately to issues and demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge of products and solutions
Identifying opportunities, needs analysis and translating them into an appropriate solution
Communicating contract details (including price negotiation) in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy, and managing associated administrative sales processes
Preparing and reviewing sales plans and proposing recovery actions when needed
Realizing sales budgets (globally and per customer) of drives service products through customer visits, presentations and demonstrations, making and following up offers
Actively promoting ABB’s service products and solutions in marketing activities such as events and trade shows while monitoring trends to develop effective marketing activities
Making an active contribution towards setting up and implementing the department’s client and product strategy.
A Higher Technical Education
A first successful work experience in a similar role
Knowledge of drives & motor applications is an asset
The ability to develop and manage customer relationships
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
Strong commercial insight and a result-oriented attitude with the necessary relational skills
Enthusiastic, stress resistant and a real team player
Good command of the Dutch, French and English languages, both verbally and in writing
