Goal
The hub in Boom is a large logistics depot where between 5000 and 12000 orders are processed every day. These orders vary from mobile phones to washing machines. In this modern depot Boom from Dynalogic the vacancy for Distribution Coordinator has become available.
The team you manage can make or break the customer experience. It's up to you to make sure every customer we visit has a top-notch experience. As a Distribution Supervisor at DynaGroup you are responsible for the quality of the drivers and co-drivers.
You will manage this group through the subcontractors. Your main challenge is to continuously improve the performance of the drivers and co-drivers and by doing so positively surprise our customers. Furthermore, you will be in daily contact with internal and external colleagues with whom you make clear agreements.
Tasks and resposibilities
- You manage the subcontractors at the site in Boom.
- You are responsible for setting up and maintaining partnerships with our subcontractors.
- You coach, motivate and supervise your subcontractors, so that the deliverers become a little better every day.
- You ensure that the agreements with customers are met and you anticipate deviations. Excellent service to our customers is paramount!
- You have regular meetings with subcontractors about quality, define improvement plans and monitor the increase in efficiency through (data) analyses.
- You ensure that the drivers and co-drivers are periodically trained.
Profile
It goes without saying that as a distribution supervisor you are proactive, stress resistant and solution oriented. We would like to emphasize the following:
- You have a bachelor’s degree , or equivalent through experience
- You have at least three years of experience in a similar job and industry.
- You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality and you are available on weekends if necessary
- You are analytical, communicatively strong and have a very good command of both Dutch and French.
- Knowledge of the transport industry and in particular the parcel industry is an advantage.
- You have an organized, accurate and hands-on way of working with attention to safety, and can easily set priorities and make decisions
