ABB Electrification business (EL) is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. You will be the first and consistent point of contact for ABB Electrification customers and business partners of the business in Belgium. Reporting to the Customer Operations Manager, and using your customer service skills and knowledge, you will help solve diverse customer inquiries in support of the wider Sales team.
We are looking for a Customer Service Employee for this department.
In this challenging position you are responsible for the administrative-commercial support of our sales teams.
Responding to customer inquiries efficiently with confidence and professionalism.
Entering orders in SAP and following up on these orders with customers in collaboration with the ABB factories, the purchasing department and the sales team.
Generating order confirmations to customers, (re) confirming delivery times.
Maintaining the database for stock orders at our external warehouse.
Coordinate with the ABB factory for orders that are delivered directly from the different factories.
Invoicing, following up on outstanding payments and resolving disputes.
Ensuring accurate customer, vendor & material master data.
Implement optimizations to work more efficiently.
A bachelor in Administration or similar in experience.
Successful experience in Customer Service in an international context.
Computer literate and good knowledge of SAP .
Responsive and proactive behavior; demonstrated responsibility for and ownership of customer issues.
Knowledge of customer-service principles and practices.
Fluent in Dutch and French (spoken and written). English being an asset.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
