We are looking for a new credit collector to join our finance team. As a credit collector, you are responsible for ensuring the credit collection of our client whiles ensuring good interpersonal relations with them.
Your role
- Following-up with ageing and past due accounts by contacting clients directly (e.g. via emails and by phone). You advise and find solutions accordingly.
- Ensuring the cash allocation of every client’s purchase by contacting them.
- Responsible for order holds and releases. You identify causes and propose solutions correspondingly.
- Based on client’s inquiries, you communicate information to the relevant department.
- Managing client’s files and information sent our credit insurance when necessary.
- You are the point of contact for any customer’ queries regarding invoicing.
- You report directly to the Credit Controller.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor in finance or accounting
- Or you have equivalent experience in this domain
- You have 1-2 years of experience as a Credit Collector
- You are fluent in English and French. Any additional language such as German and Dutch is a plus
- You have strong planning and prioritizing skills, along with a result-oriented mindset
- You have excellent communication skills, written and verbally , to communicate effectively with our clients
- You are customer- and problem-solving oriented
- You have good command of Microsoft office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Navision and/or Odoo are considered a plus
