Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
The Corporate controller will oversee the following main tasks and will have the opportunity to specialize in:
- Accounting
- Performing all accounting operations
- Postings of intercompany transactions
- Controlling and tracking of financial flows
- Performing dunning process with loan repayments from subsidiaries
- Maintaining an orderly accounting system file
- Conducting bank reconciliations with multiple currencies
- Reporting & compliance
- Monitoring debt levels and compliance with debt covenants, solvency checks
- Preparing tax filings and VAT declaration
- Coordinating the preparation of the corporate annual report
- Managing the production of annual budget and forecast
- Providing timely financial reporting to lenders
- Project financing
- Closely collaborating with Business Development team to assess borrowing capacity of subsidiaries for project developments
- Negotiating and executing intercompany loans:
- Setting up and managing interest rates
- Establishing repayment schedule
- Managing securities
- Mitigating foreign exchange risks
- Performing tax optimization
Jouw profiel
The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented professional with a strong accounting background, and capacity to manage financial flows of the dedicated structure.
The other requested qualifications are:
- Certified Accountant with experience in Financial Management / Financial Controlling
- Independent worker with a helicopter view
- Fluent in English (French is a plus) because you will be part of an international team
- Good communication technique to interact with various stakeholders), team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills are required for a business partnering role
- The ability to provide accurate and timely follow up
- Business acumen and hands-on with a sense of initiative
- Experience in an international environment and logistics is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP / Cognos is a plus
- Committed with a long-term goal in mind to work in an international setting
