Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in Brussels or Antwerp: Claims Advisory Supervisor (M/F/X).
Leading operational activities of the Motor Claims department and prioritizing own and departmental workloads in order to remain in accordance with local target requirements.
Driving and supporting cross-functional business initiatives to achieve objectives.
Promoting efficiency initiatives & contributes to effective management of shared operations.
Challenging existing practices and developing innovative solutions.
Ensuring that team performance meets quality & timeliness thresholds stipulated by client agreements, internal guidelines and regulatory authorities to uphold client expectations.
Implementing new Motor claims operations processes (such as facilitating claims fast-tracking opportunities between clients, insurers and adjustors) by clearly communicating structured and abstract operational standards and mentoring direct reports, to achieve team operational goals and maximize process efficiencies.
Utilizing effective management techniques to ensure adherence to internal and client service standards, key performance indicators and business objectives.
Evaluating escalated claims issues and providing resolution or defer to others, as appropriate, to ensure appropriate attention is paid to specialized claims.
Ensuring that team adheres to compliance, professional standards, and business objectives to maintain a quality service to ensure claims management processes adhere to established standards.
Ensuring operational controls are carrying consistently by direct reports to align with established business policies and procedures; provides training as needed.
Conducting performance evaluations, facilitates technical and career development training and assists with on-boarding new colleagues to develop and grow the team.
Relevant college/university degree required, or relevant experience within a similar function or area of expertise.
Strong interpersonal skills, proactive and customer focused.
Exhibited ability to set and recognize priorities to meet and exceed client needs and expectations.
Proficiency in coverage review, interpretation and negotiation with vendors and clients.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, carriers and clients.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Fluent in French and Dutch. Good understanding of English
